New rescue vehicles for India

One of the highlights during the IAF Muenster was the presentation of the new Hilton rescue vehicle. The vehicles has been developed and manufactured in cooperation with our partner Windhoff for Indian railways (COFMOW). The first 2 vehicles have been shipped to India after the exhibition. The vehicles are equipped with a Palfinger 74002A railway crane with a maximum lifting moment of 70,1 mt for lifting derailed wagons back on track. The bodywork of the equipment compartment and the crewcabin is entirely made of GRP. The hydrostatic wheel drive on all four axles of the two bogies, allows a speed of up to 60 km/ h on track. The vehicles were delivered including all derailing equipment.
