As per 01.09 Hilton Kommunal GmbH took over the former SBZ Schörling-Brock Zweiwegetechnik GmbH and continues the activities at the production facility in Gehrden next to Hannover.
Through this acquisition, Hilton Kommunal becomes one of the global market leaders for railroad vehicles, which is specialized in the production of overhead line mounting vehicles and rail cleaning vehicles. For any kind of railroad vehicle from simple trailers up to 4-axial trucks, Hilton Kommunal manufactures a wide range of different rail drive units which are mountable on all common chassis of renowned truck OEMs as Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Iveco, etc.
Our team of 40 highly experienced employees in Gehrden ensures the state of the art quality level and continuous improvement of our products. As we control the entire process from design to release of the vehicle in house, we are able to secure that each step of the value chain is carried out with the highest possible precision and traceable at any time.All our railroad vehicles are entirely designed by ourselves and the used materials and components are all procured from long term renowned suppliers who comply with the European quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Our rigorous incoming inspection, the continuous in-process testing and the extensive final inspection audits enable us to guarantee the highest quality expectations of our customers around the world.
